Yay! My photo of Neverstore came in 2nd place in the Moscow international Foto Awards 2016 under the category “Advertising, Music”. The winner was a photo of U2 and the 3rd place winner was a photo of Taylor Swift. So my friends in Neverstore is in pretty good company I would say.

I also received two honorable mentions, one for “Editorial, Personality” with my photo of Dick & Dottie, and one for “Fine Art, Portrait” with my Ballerina.

It is my great pleasure to inform you that your work has been awarded a winning placement in the MIFA Photo Awards 2016! MIFA received thousands of great images from 85 different countries. Entries were judged in Architecture, Advertising, Book, Editorial, Fine Art, Moving Images, Nature, People, Portfolio, Events and Science categories.

MIFA asked the Jury Panel to review each submission based on the following criteria: originality, creativity, composition and most importantly overall impact. The identity of participating photographers are hidden from the jury to ensure fairness and integrity of the MIFA competition. MIFA will be sending a major press release announcing the winners in hope that your winning work will get the exposure it deserves.
