If you want that dreamy look on your portraits with very little contrast, wait til the sun is low and then put your model between you and the sun. Here I choose to have a wall behind my model to avoid having a blown out sky.<\/p>\n

Also notice how you get better depth in you photo when you have three layers divided like this;
\n1. blurry foreground (flowers at the bottom of the photo)
\n2. my model Marie in focus
\n3. blurry background<\/p>\n

Usually I would have had the flowers in the foreground cover a little bit more of Marie, but since we need to show the cape as good as possible this was the way to go this time.<\/p>\n
